Hello everyone.
There has been a lot of major reconstruction in my life. I'm really, really, REALLY busy right now. I'm also having alot of trouble with my disease process as well as my medication, and its not helping any at all. But I promise - I have more AMAZING photography on the way, along with some traditional art and a big batch of new digital art. However, before any of that gets here I will be going through my deviantions and deleting what I feel is no longer a good representation of myself, and my artistic skill. (That means A LOT of old things will go bye-bye). I am also trying to re-organize all my deviations, so hold tight.
Lately, I have noticed an increased rate of art-thievery among my cherished watched deviants. It has me a bit paranoid. That may be a bit of a reason as to why I haven't been uploading as well. Just a word of caution - protect yourself and your work at all costs.
Well, life calls.

This past saturday, I visited a amazing place called Rainhill Equine Facility, a non-profit equine facillity. Located here in Kentucky, Rainhill takes in blind, disabled, abandoned, and unwanted horses. At Rainhill, the horses find their forever homes - for they are never sold or re-homed. Karen Thurman, the owner, currently has 49 horses on the property that she is taking care of. The blind horses are her main focus.
So many of the horses she has were abandoned, forgotten, or about to be taken to put down/go to slaughter because they simply went blind or became sick. But, at Rainhill, they get all the love and attention they could ever want.
So many of the horses are scared; for as soon as they got sick, or went blind (when they need their owners the most) the owners simply gave up hope. She has shown me so many success stories. There are still some that may never lose their fear, but Karen is still trying her best to gain each horses trust. And I was amazed; some horses who were blind were so trusting and well behaved. The disabilities of the horses range from cancer, blindness, to back and knee problems. Some are extremely old.
I urge you to visit Rainhill's website, and if you can, make a donation - it is needed to take care of the 49 horses, plus a foal to come!
Rainhill will be holding a fundraiser at Teresa's Resturaunt on may 9th, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All proceeds will be directed to expanding their main barn!
